The HTPC case. There are many routes you can take when picking a case I chose to go with small, simple and cheap. I found this case at newegg.com and it has satisfied these criteria for me. The case fan takes cool air from the front which helps draw new fresh air into the case instead of drawing in hot air from the back or side of the entertainment cabinet shelf that other HTPC cases do.

The case is not much bigger then common DVR box you may already have in your home theater setup. There are of course smaller cases but for $49 you can't beat it. I like the silverstone LC19 too but it is $180 and will not hold a standard size blue-ray player and two hard disks.

Below you can see what come in the package. Case, feet, Power Cord, zip ties, and a hand full of screws. I did find out the top hard drive tray does not fit 3.5" drives because of the clip in face cover. The clips on the 3.5" cover hit the drive by about a 1/4 inch and if you push the drive back deeper into the tray the screw holes do not aline to any mounting holes. Some simple box mods could correct this problem if you want to get two 3.5" hard disk drive in side this case.

Why do they only supply one SATA power plug? I guess that is what adaptors are for... If your planing on having more then one SATA device in this box purchase a 4 pin molex to SATA power adapter or SATA splitter for a couple of bucks.
