One thing you don't want to fall short with is having control of your HTPC. I chose a full size keyboard with a thumb pad and a multi-media remote. This made the system fully functional and a pleasure to use wile sitting on the couch.

The Logitec bluetooth keyboard along with the AZiO bluetooth receiver are a great combo for a fully function keyboard with over 30 feet of range. The keyboard and bluetooth adapter worked flawlessly with both Windows and Linux right out of the box no drivers needed (Tested on Windows 7 Beta and Ubuntu 9.04).

The eData remote is configured much like the Tivo remote. This remote is easy to use fits nicely in the had and works with both Windows and Linux (Tested on Windows 7 Beta and Ubuntu 9.04).

Here is the HTPC setup with eData IR receiver for the remote and a AZiO bluetooth adapter for the keyboard.
