Changed Boxee's Audio Output in Settings/System/Audio Hardware to "Analog" instead of "Digital"... this automatically changed Audio Output Device to "default" instead of "iec958"

Configuring Video Display

go to nvidia, download the latest drivers, http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree8...80.44-pkg1.run for 32 bit
http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree8...80.44-pkg2.run for 64

then do sudo apt-get install build-essential
then hold ctrl-alt and hit f2 or f3
then type sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop
then type sudo su
then go to where you downloaded the NVIDIA file, normally desktop
cd Desktop/
then sh NVIDIA-L (hit tab to autocomplete if you're lazy like me)
follow the instructions, when it asks if you want to download the module for your kernel hit no, it'll build one, when it asks if you want to setup x say yes
when it's all done, type /etc/init.d/gdm start
you SHOULD have a working nvidia driver....and also the latest

NOTE: if you update your kernel you will need to run the nvidia script again
so save it somewhere

Configuring Remote

sudo apt-get install lirc

Configuring Bluetoothe keyboard

System->Preferences->Bluetooth

Press the plus button "+"

Press Forward

Turn on you bluetooh keyboard and press a key. It should show up in the list of devices to select.

Select the keyboard off the list and press Forward.

Enter the number that is givin to you on the bluetooth keyboard and press enter. If all went well you have succesfully added a bluetooth keybord to your unbutnu box.
